The line-up for Bybit Stockholm Open continues to grow stronger. Former world No. 4 and US Open finalist Taylor Fritz is set to return to the Royal Tennis Hall from 7–14 November. The American star joins an impressive field featuring Casper Ruud, Holger Rune, Alexander Bublik and Matteo Berrettini.
Fritz has established himself as one of the world's leading players in recent years. In 2024, he reached his first Grand Slam final at the US Open and also made it to the final of the prestigious ATP Finals in Turin, finishing the season as world No. 4. His career highlights also include winning the ATP Masters 1000 title at Indian Wells in 2022, where he defeated Rafael Nadal in the final.
Fritz last competed in Stockholm in 2021. Since then, the American has taken his game to new heights and now returns as one of the biggest names in this year's tournament.
"I'm really excited to be coming back to Stockholm. I played here in 2021 and remember it as a great tournament with a special atmosphere. I'm looking forward to playing in front of the Swedish fans again and hopefully putting on some great tennis," says Taylor Fritz.
For Tournament Director Thomas Enqvist, Fritz's return is another exciting addition to an already strong line-up.
"It's fantastic to welcome Taylor Fritz back to Stockholm. He's developed tremendously since his last appearance here and has established himself among the very best players in the world. With his powerful serve and aggressive game, he's another player who can deliver world-class tennis for our fans. This year's line-up is looking incredibly exciting," says Thomas Enqvist.
With less than a month to go until the tournament begins, excitement continues to build. Tickets for the popular quarter-final and semi-final evening sessions are selling fast, and fans looking to experience some of the world's best tennis players at the Royal Tennis Hall are encouraged to secure their seats.
